Who We Need

Reporting to Consultant+ within the Valuation & Advisory team, we are hiring an Analyst to join our growing practice in New York City. As our new Analyst, you will gain exposure to institutional-grade commercial real estate portfolios while supporting valuation consulting, appraisal review, appraisal management, financial due diligence, and investment managed services initiatives. You will collect, analyze, and organize commercial real estate data to support valuation consulting services and key client assignments. Working closely with senior team members, you will contribute research, financial analysis, market insights, and consulting support across a broad range of commercial real estate asset types.

What You Can Expect From Our Interview Process

  • A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor to discuss your interest in joining the company and in the role.
  • A timed Excel assessment designed to evaluate your analytical thinking, quantitative reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to work through valuation- and real estate-related analysis relevant to the role.
  • An in-person interview with two Directors focused on your technical skills, commercial real estate knowledge, problem-solving approach, communication skills, and ability to succeed within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
  • A final interview with the Senior Director, Valuation & Advisory, focused on your analytical capabilities, work style, growth potential, adaptability, and overall alignment with the team and organization.

What’s Required

  • You have completed a university or college degree in Commerce, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, along with exposure to commercial real estate through coursework, internships, or early professional experience.
  • You are comfortable working with numbers, financial analysis, and data interpretation. You enjoy problem-solving, can think critically, and have the ability to work through calculations, financial concepts, and analytical challenges with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, along with exposure to financial modelling. Experience with Argus Enterprise or other valuation and modelling tools is considered an asset.
  • You can gather, organize, and synthesize information from multiple sources while managing competing priorities and maintaining a high level of accuracy in your work.
  • You are comfortable working within a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment. You can communicate clearly and professionally, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute effectively while working closely with senior team members, clients, and third-party partners.
  • You are motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and deadlines. You are willing to put in extra effort during busy periods and are excited by the opportunity to grow within a high-performing team.
