In this position, you will collaborate with all levels of management to negotiate, investigate, and coordinate property acquisitions and dispositions across the U.S. and Canada. You will be directly under the supervision of the management team including the President of AREC. Please note this is a full-time, in-person position in Midtown Phoenix, business travel may be required. Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To Evaluate offers received and negotiate price and terms with prospective buyers or their agent.Coordinate location analysis of potential acquisitions assigned. Determine, through appraisers and local brokers, property valuations using appropriate appraisal techniques. Negotiate purchase price and terms with seller or broker for purchase transactions and recommend modifications as necessary.Order and evaluate surveys, appraisals, soil test and environmental assessments.Prepare Purchase and Sale Agreements, examine Title Commitment for Title Insurance and review and approve all closing documents for completeness and accuracy and close transaction by coordinating the transfer of funds to the title company’s escrow account.Obtain Proceeds of Sale and coordinate with Accounting Department to ensure proper accounting of recording of mortgage satisfaction and release.Prepare acquisitions, dispositions or surplus declaration proposals containing all pertinent information.Represent Amerco Real Estate Company and U-Haul International in a professional and positive light to outside brokerage companies, corporate real estate representatives and industry associations.
