About the Role

As a Project Manager at Rayonier, you will lead the transformation of rural real estate projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities include identifying and executing projects that meet financial targets, managing regulatory processes, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from financial analysis to project completion.
  • Evaluate rural real estate opportunities using market research and financial underwriting.
  • Influence regulatory proposals and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Direct third-party service contracts and oversee project execution.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and present to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • A BS in Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or Construction Management with a land development concentration or related experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in real estate development, engineering, construction, or land management.
  • A proven ability to perform land use planning, site design, and land use feasibility analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of successful public presentations and negotiations.

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting land use.
