Our client, an AmLaw200 firm, is seeking to add an experienced Commercial Real Estate Partner to their team. Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of real estate transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and due diligence materials.

  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies that achieve clients' business objectives while managing legal risks.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and practical legal advice.
  • Staying abreast of developments in real estate law and business trends, and using this knowledge to proactively advise clients.
  • Contributing to the firm's business development efforts, including participating in client pitches, speaking engagements, and writing articles for publication.

Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on real estate law.
  • Proven experience in real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on commercial leasing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve complex legal issues.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
