Human Resource Business Partner
The Role
The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating organizational priorities into people strategies that drive performance, retention, and growth. This role partners with managers at all levels to navigate complex employee relations matters, build workforce capability, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The HRBP acts as a consultative resource on talent management, organizational design, compensation guidance, and change management, balancing business needs with employee advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand and execute the organization’s talent strategy, as it relates to current and future needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning
- Partner with business leaders to shape workforce strategies that drive operational performance and organizational growth
- Advise managers on employee relations matters including performance concerns, corrective actions, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution, coaching them to address issues proactively
- Drive talent management and performance management processes, equipping managers with the tools and frameworks to develop, retain, and engage their teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, proactively identifying risk areas and recommending policy updates
- Audit training, coaching, and development needs across departments and recommend solutions to address skill gaps
- Contribute to workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning to help ensure the business has the talent pipeline to meet current and future needs
- Support organizational change initiatives by managing stakeholder engagement and guiding leaders through transitions, partnering with leadership on communication strategies
- Leverage HR analytics and workforce data to inform business decisions, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Interpret and operationalize company policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application and providing guidance to managers on implementation
- Coordinate across HR Centers of Excellence including Payroll, Employee Services, and Recruiting to deliver cohesive, business-aligned HR solutions
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects and initiatives as identified
- Build learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees at all levels of the organization
- Support recruitment process which includes interviewing and ensuring hiring of qualified job applicants particularly for managerial, exempt and professional roles
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience as a business partner, with at least 2 years of experience in employee relations and 3 years of experience in Employee Engagement and recruitment
- 2 years of experience working in a shared services or center of excellence HR model
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or relevant HR certification (Preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment (Preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required by business needs
- Must possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, all required travel documentation, including a valid passport where international travel is necessary
- Must be able to lawfully enter and exit the United States and other countries required for business travel
- Must not have any legal or regulatory restrictions that would prevent the issuance, renewal, or use of required travel documents, or otherwise limit the ability to fulfill the travel requirements of the role

Physical Demands
This role is primarily performed in an office environment and requires frequent sitting, walking, and repetitive finger and wrist movements consistent with regular computer use. Occasional standing, light lifting up to 10 lbs, climbing stairs, bending, and reaching may also be necessary.
