Job Duties
- Aid in completing real estate escrow transactions by identifying requirements, reviewing title reports, assembling, preparing, and reviewing closing documents, and disbursing funds.
- Support the preparation and review of closing documents and closing reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Prepare and review HUD/Settlement Statements/CDs using lender instructions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from all parties involved in a real estate transaction, including lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers.
- Record important dates and maintain relevant files.
- Coordinate closings with all parties involved.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a real estate title company or law firm.
- Preferred knowledge of RESPA, title insurance, and residential or commercial real estate title matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
