About the role
Ballard Spahr LLP seeks an Associate with 4 or more years of experience to join the Real Estate Finance group within the Finance Department in Denver. Candidates should have extensive experience with a wide-range of debt, debt-like and equity transactions secured by or invested in, directly or indirectly, real estate projects.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of debt, debt-like and equity transactions secured by or invested in, directly or indirectly, real estate projects.
- Handle both lender/capital provider-side and borrower-side work.
- Gain direct client contact in a collegial environment.
- Work one-on-one with partners.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with a wide-range of debt, debt-like and equity transactions secured by or invested in, directly or indirectly, real estate projects.
- Experience with either or a blend of both lender/capital provider-side and borrower-side work.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- An active bar license in Colorado is required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is from $230,000 to $285,000, which reflects the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
