Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney (New York or Orange County)

About the role

The Finance practice of Sheppard has been a key element of the firm's practice since its founding over 90 years ago. The Orange County office seeks an associate attorney with 4–6 years of experience representing lenders on construction, bridge, and permanent loans at a national or regional law firm.

Responsibilities

• Representing lenders on construction, bridge, and permanent loans
• Drafting and negotiating mortgage loan documents
• Conducting associated real estate and entity due diligence
• Working with other team members and clients
• "Taking ownership" of projects

Requirements

• Significant lender-side experience
• Top academic credentials
• Outstanding writing skills

Qualifications

• Admitted to and a member in good standing with the CA or NY State Bar

Skills

• Strong legal and practical problem-solving skills

Benefits

• Annual salary range: $390,000 to $420,000

Pay

• $390,000 to $420,000 annually
