Real Estate Closer
Our client is an established real estate investment firm with a national acquisition footprint, focused on acquiring single-tenant, operationally essential properties across the service, retail, and industrial sectors throughout the United States. About the Role
The Real Estate Closing Associate will coordinate all aspects of the closing process for property acquisitions, working closely with the Investment and Credit Teams, existing Closers, internal and external counsel, and title companies. This role covers the full transaction lifecycle, from due diligence through closing and post-closing support, and offers the opportunity to manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Investment and Closing Teams on acquisitions of tenanted properties
- Drive the acquisition process from letter of intent through close, managing timelines and requirements
- Manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously
- Coordinate the full due diligence process, from third-party vendor engagement through final deliverables
- Assist with preparation and completion of closing documents; review transaction-related legal documents for accuracy
- Analyze and correspond on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and related documentation, escalating concerns as needed
- Notarize and compile signature packets; coordinate delivery of closing, financing, and legal packages
- Review and finalize settlement statements and coordinate funding
- Perform insurance reviews and coordinate certificate/policy changes
- Maintain accurate electronic transaction files and closing documentation
- Support post-closing activities as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in real estate or a similar field (commercial real estate preferred)
- Title/escrow experience in commercial real estate preferred
- New Jersey Notary License preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to quickly learn new software systems
- Self-motivated, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential/proprietary information
- Must be authorized to work in the US; references required

Pay
$80,000 - $120,000 per year
