About the role
Berkadia’s Rotational Analyst Program takes a dynamic approach to analyst onboarding and development across two of Berkadia’s three most critical platforms – mortgage banking, investment sales and underwriting. Over 12 months, you’ll partner with seasoned professionals, senior leadership and reliable mentors as you prepare to make an impact on the CRE industry.
Program rotations
After onboarding, you will complete two 6-month rotations in two production business groups—Investment Sales and Mortgage Banking—supporting multi-billion-dollar capital markets platforms.
Investment Sales (New Jersey)
- Assist Investment Sales Advisors with client and property financial analysis and market data extraction/manipulation/preparation
- Prepare investment memorandums and valuations for senior executive review
- Gather market research to support analysis of market rents and expenses, comparable sales, and market trends
- Prepare financial analysis and projections for acquisition and disposition opportunities
- Analyze P&L statements and rent rolls
Mortgage Banking (New York)
- Review and evaluate new loan opportunities
- Serve as a key point of contact for tracking loan opportunities through the loan cycle
- Review Excel-based underwriting workbooks and narrative presentations
- Review, size and price transactions with the product originations team during the quote process
- Draft quotes to the business and credit teams
- Add quotes to the internal CRM tracking system
- Prepare loan applications
Outcomes
Upon completing the 12-month rotational period, you will partner with local and program leadership to identify permanent placement into Investment Sales or Mortgage Banking based on career interest, performance, and office needs.
