Reagent Filling Supervisor

About the role

As the Supervisor, Reagent Filling, you will supervise operators who fill reagents for clinical diagnostic tools in the form of immunodiagnostic reagent packs. You will also perform direct labor work to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and schedule attainment within the Filling work cell. This on-site position is based in Chaska, Minnesota, reports to the Manager of Reagent Filling, and is part of the Reagent Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of machine operators to meet production demands.
• Monitor multiple manufacturing production runs.
• Support manufacturing nonconformance investigations, material supply issues, and process improvements to meet schedule and customer demands.
• Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines.
• Apply basic analytical skills to scientific methods, operational processes, or data to perform clearly documented activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience.
• Attention to detail in activities and documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
• Basic computer skills for data management and managing laboratory processes.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry materials up to 30 lb.
• Infrequent travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience working in a regulated industry.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay

The annual salary range for this role is $83,000 – $90,000 USD. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
