About the role
The Ready Medic is a highly adaptable medical professional responsible for supporting Crisis24's Medical Solutions operations worldwide. This position serves as a deployable operational resource, providing medical coverage for ad hoc events, filling staffing gaps, augmenting existing teams, and responding to short notice assignments as business needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency, urgent, and preventative medical care, including patient assessment, stabilization, treatment, monitoring, and coordination of referrals, telemedicine consultations, medical evacuations, and higher levels of care as needed.
- Maintain operational readiness by ensuring medical equipment, medications, and clinic resources are fully prepared, while accurately documenting patient care, incidents, and electronic medical records in compliance with established protocols.
- Deploy domestic and international assignments to support staffing shortages, operational surges, executive protection details, corporate events, private functions, and other special projects, including short notice travel as needed.
- Conduct site assessments and support operational, medical contingency, and risk planning while coordinating with internal teams, healthcare providers, emergency services, and security personnel to ensure seamless operations and mission readiness.
- Provide on-site medical support for executive travel, private events, and high-profile engagements by ensuring medical preparedness, assessing local healthcare capabilities, and developing emergency response and evacuation plans for domestic and international assignments.
- Support operational readiness by managing medical inventory, inspecting equipment, maintaining clinic spaces and response assets, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through quality initiatives, training exercises, after-action reviews, and by assisting with onboarding, mentorship, and operational training as assigned.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, members, guests, and stakeholders by delivering exceptional customer service, compassionate care, and consistently professional experience.
- Represent the organization with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Current Paramedic certification in good standing
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following: 911 ALS response, Critical Care Transport, Tactical, austere, or remote medicine, Executive Protection medicine, Emergency department or equivalent operational environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel internationally
- Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure in multiple jurisdictions
- Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to deploy domestically and internationally on short notice (Travel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical Care Paramedic (FP-C, CCP-C) certification
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, TECC, or TCCC
- ALMS, PEPP, EPC, or equivalent advanced certifications
- Prior military, law enforcement, executive protection, or special operations experience
- Experience interacting with high-net-worth individuals and executive clients
- Experience working in remote, austere, or international environments
- Incident command, emergency management, or crisis response training
