We’re looking for a proactive On-Site Medic to support the safety and well-being of jobsite workers through injury prevention, on-site medical support, and coordination with clinical teams. This is a unique opportunity to work independently in the field while being backed by a supportive clinical team.

About the Role

• Mobile medic role with frequent intercity travel using multi modes of transportation
• Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction
• Serve as a resource for psychosocial support, applying a peer support model to assist site personnel
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, on-site staff, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and communication
• Lead proactive injury prevention initiatives, including “stretch and flex” programs and ergonomic coaching
• Accurately document patient interactions and care in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Ensure the on-site medical facility remains clean, organized, and fully stocked with essential supplies
• Collaborate with jobsite safety teams by supporting orientations, trainings, and additional assignments

Requirements

• Education: High school or equivalent
• Experience: 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar field
• Certified: BLS, CPR, First Aid required. EMT/NREMT preferred. BLS for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
• OSHA 30 and NYC SST 10 hour preferred. Obtain SST within 30 days of employment
• Able to travel via multiple modes of transportation
• Adaptable: Thrive in fast-paced, independent work environments
• Customer-focused: Strong communicator and team player
• Mobile: must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite, be able to walk the jobsite for up to 5 hours daily. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.

Skills

• Strong communication skills

• Knowledge of ergonomic principles and injury prevention strategies
• Basic knowledge of EHR systems

Pay

The pay range for this role is: 28 - 28 USD per hour (Brooklyn, NY)

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM
