Reading & Writing Exam Prep Tutor for Test Prep (in-person, part-time)

About the role

Huntington Learning Center in Cypress, TX is seeking Reading and Writing exam prep tutors for high school level skills preparation for SAT or ACT. The position offers flexible scheduling, no lesson plans to write, and the opportunity to teach one-on-one.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to Huntington students
• Complete Huntington Training program on Tutoring Exam Prep
• Alert Assistant Directors to any concerns and suggest program changes
• Focus on standardized test prep best practices (SAT/ACT)

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required
• Expertise in High School English
• Able to demonstrate proficiency by scoring a 700+ on Reading and Writing Section of SAT
