Math Exam Prep Tutor for Test Prep (in-person, part-time)

About the role

Huntington Learning Center in Cypress, TX is seeking experienced Math tutors to assist high school students preparing for the SAT or ACT exams.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to Huntington students
• Complete Huntington Training program on Tutoring Exam Prep
• Alert Assistant Directors to any concerns and suggest program changes
• Focus on standardized test prep best practices (SAT/ACT)

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required
• Expertise in High School Math
• Able to demonstrate proficiency by scoring a 700+ on Reading and Writing Sections of SAT

Qualifications

• Teachers, retired professionals, and subject matter experts are encouraged to apply

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
• Proficiency in using technology for lesson delivery and assessment
