Math part-time tutor

Job Summary

About the Role

Huntington Learning Center seeks dedicated tutors to support students in grades K-12. We are particularly interested in licensed teachers who specialize in math and science.

Responsibilities

• Tailored instruction to meet individual student needs
• Flexible schedule: 12pm-8pm Monday through Thursday, Saturday 9am-2pm, and extended hours during summer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced proficiency in math and/or science
• Ability to tutor exam prep, SAT, ACT
• Calculus/high school math expertise

Qualifications

Please note that expired licenses are acceptable. No lesson plans to write or homework to grade.

Schedule

During the school year: 12pm-8pm Monday through Thursday, Saturday 9am-2pm. Summer schedule: Monday through Thursday 9am-8pm and Saturday 9am-2pm.

Pay

Pay is based on education, experience, and specialties.
