React Developer (US)

About the role

We are looking for a talented React Developer to join our engineering team and build modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript and enjoys developing clean, reusable, and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented JavaScript and TypeScript code.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Identify and resolve UI, performance, and application issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and technical discussions.
• Follow modern frontend development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–6 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development.
• Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of frontend testing and debugging practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with state-management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-based application environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $95K–$185K annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.

Locations: NYC, Austin, San Francisco, Chicago.
