React developer

About the role

Lead front-end development efforts using React to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces. Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the team, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and conduct advanced code reviews to maintain and elevate code quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end development efforts using React to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Lead front-end architectural decisions and enforce best practices across projects.
• Implement responsive UI designs with expertise in modern CSS, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct advanced code reviews to maintain and elevate code quality standards.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in front-end/UI development with a strong focus on React.
• Strong proficiency in React frameworks and ecosystem (e.g., hooks, context API, router).
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
• In-depth understanding of CSS, including SASS/SCSS, CSS-in-JS (e.g., Styled Components), and responsive design patterns.
• Experience in Node.js and npm for build and dependency management.
• Familiarity with modern bundlers (Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with front-end testing tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows (e.g., pull requests, branching strategies).
• Familiarity or exposure to Micro Frontends architecture.
• Familiarity with monorepos and experience using tools like Nx for project management.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and deployment to platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based backend systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex front-end issues.
• Solid experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+) and modern ECMAScript features.

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with front-end testing tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalization (i18n/l10n) best practices.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern build tools like Webpack or Vite.
• Work Experience: 5-7 Years.
