Re-Entry Program Coordinator
About the role
The Re-Entry Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting individuals transitioning back into society after incarceration. This position involves collaborating with community partners, developing programs, and providing direct services to help participants reintegrate successfully.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement re-entry programs tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with local organizations to provide comprehensive support services
- Conduct outreach to potential participants and their families
- Provide counseling and guidance to help participants overcome challenges
- Monitor participant progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Prepare reports and documentation as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in re-entry programs
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Experience with data entry and record keeping

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
