About the role
The Re-Entry Counselor is responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals returning to higher education after a period of time away from formal learning.
Responsibilities
- Assessing student needs and developing individualized academic plans
- Providing counseling services to help students overcome barriers to success
- Mentoring students to enhance their academic performance and personal development
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment
- Conducting outreach to potential students and community partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience working with adult learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for travel)
Qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
