About the role

The Re-Entry Counselor is responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals returning to higher education after a period of absence.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document student needs and progress
• Provide academic advising and counseling services
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure successful student outcomes
• Conduct outreach to potential students and community partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
• Experience working with adult learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Passion for helping others succeed
