Responsibilities
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings for RCM leadership and team members.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items to ensure timely execution.
- Assist in maintaining RCM policies, procedures, and training materials for compliance and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between RCM team members and leadership to support process improvement project implementations.
- Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action logs, scope changes, and post-project evaluations.
- Provide administrative support for revenue cycle management efforts, including report preparation and data tracking.
- Manage payer portal access by maintaining and updating user credentials ensuring secure and uninterrupted access for the revenue cycle team.
- Assist the RCM team in monitoring portal functionality and reporting any identified issues promptly.
- Review, categorize, and ensure accurate and timely distribution of incoming faxes to the appropriate department or stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and organizational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by RCM Leadership to support departmental goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience required; experience in health care or revenue cycle management preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build stakeholder engagement and drive action.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and/or electronic health care record software system preferred.
