Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior reduction and replacement strategies
- Collect and record data on client behavior to track progress and inform treatment decisions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with BCBAs to develop and implement new treatment plans and strategies
- Provide support and education to family members and caregivers on implementing treatment plans in natural environments
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Previous experience as an RBT is plus
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and environments
