RBT- Registered Behavior Technician

About the role

Average work schedule is 40 hours per week. The RBT will provide direct support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through behavioral intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized behavioral interventions based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and document progress towards behavior goals
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to implement behavior plans
• Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain a state-specific certification or license (if required)

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
