About the role
Average work schedule is 40 hours per week. The RBT will provide direct support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through behavioral intervention techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized behavioral interventions based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document progress towards behavior goals
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to implement behavior plans
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a state-specific certification or license (if required)
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
