About the role

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate ABA Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team. This is an exciting part-time opportunity to make a full-time impact in a child's life.

Responsibilities

  • Teach young children affected by autism essential skills such as communication, sharing, playing, and waiting.
  • Work directly with children and families in their natural environment, including homes, schools, and Butterfly Effects centers.
  • Use play-based activities to make learning fun and engaging.
  • Offer training to all staff to ensure they feel confident in instructing children affected by autism.
  • Ensure the session is enjoyable and positive for both the child and family.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma.
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • A web-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
  • At least 3 weekdays with same availability.
  • A positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications.

Schedule

At least 3 weekdays with same availability. Available shifts include Daytime Shift: 8AM-4PM and Evening Shift: 3PM-7PM.

Physical Demands

Working with clients in their natural environments may require lifting or moving approximately 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
