About The Role
Seeking RBTs to work in the Neshaminy Public School District. As an RBT at Devereux, you will support a Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) program — specifically a special education classroom for autistic support — implementing behavior protocols designed by a BCBA within the school setting with several students.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior protocols designed by the BCBA within the school setting with several students
- Implement baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions in consultation with the BCBA
- Collect and record data under the direction of the BCBA
- Maintain up-to-date graphs, summarize and calculate data
- Implement all universal safety precautions related to individual care
- Develop and maintain progress reports in consultation with the BCBA
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:50am – 3:35pm. This position is aligned with the school calendar and is a full-time role covering a 10-month period, with opportunities for the extended school year program during summer break.
Pay
Starting at $21/hour up to $26.50/hour, pending higher education and experience in the field.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Associate's degree required
- RBT Certification required or ability to obtain RBT within first 60 days of employment
- At least one year of experience in an educational setting required
- Experience with individuals with autism and/or other special education populations preferred
About DESS
DESS partners with child-serving institutions to provide services in early learning, behavioral and mental health treatment, academic interventions, and prevention programming. We also offer direct staff placement, diagnostic evaluations, and consultation services to school districts.
