About the role

Solving Autism, LLC is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in the Boone, NC area. The company provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, focusing on helping learners aged 2-21 build skills for independence.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with learners to help them develop necessary skills.
• Utilize positive reinforcement techniques and incorporate natural environment teaching practices with discrete trial instruction.
• Collect and analyze data based on interactions with clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and support sessions.
• Assist in maintaining and updating client records.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavior challenges.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• A sense of humor and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
• Commitment to the role for at least six months.
• First Aid and CPR certification (training provided).
• RBT certification (40-hour online modules, paid training).

Qualifications

• Completion of RBT training and passing the RBT exam.
• Education in fields such as education, psychology, or counseling.
• Interest in continuing education and professional development.
