RBT

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team, providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, through in-home and community-based ABA services.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Willingness to travel 100% (required)

Pay

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour (listed range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour)

Schedule

• Part-time or full-time
• Monday to Friday in the later afternoons
• In-person work location
