Raw Milk Receiver - 12 hour Days

About the role

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is seeking a Raw Processor based in Londonderry, NH. The Raw Processor will receive, test, and separate raw milk, input test results and milk load data into SAP, perform all raw CIPs and periodic cleaning, and ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw milk and standardize to Quality specifications
• Operate, troubleshoot, and clean milk separator
• Perform all raw CIPs and troubleshoot to support production functions
• Perform all raw periodic cleaning per schedule determined by sanitation needs
• Perform all raw preventive maintenance tasks to ensure high quality
• Manage the cream balance to include load outs and bagging
• Program Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to support tasks
• Assist pasteurized processor where necessary to ensure safety and quality products
• Have milk available to support pasteurizing schedule
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) at all times
• Follow all lock-out/tag-out procedures at all times
• Write work orders for items in area of responsibility needing repair and follow up to ensure repairs are completed
• Practice good housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb a 6ft ladder
• Good hand and eye coordination
• Must be able to work flexible hours when covering for other processor vacations
• Must be able to work weekends when the situation warrants
• Able to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Ability to adapt in a changing work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong math skills
• Basic knowledge of computer operation
• Proficient in the English language

Schedule

12-hour shifts (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM) on a rotating front-half days schedule:

• Week 1: Sat – work, Sun – work, Mon – work, Tues – work, Wed – off, Thurs – off, Fri – off
• Week 2: Sat – off, Sun – work, Mon – work, Tues – work, Wed – off, Thurs – off, Fri – off
