Rates Analyst

About the role

Join one of the world's largest and most respected law firms, known for its collaborative culture and focus on operational excellence within its Finance and Pricing functions. We're seeking Rates Analysts to handle the coordination and implementation of firmwide billing rates for the Firm's clients and matters. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to build a career in legal finance, working closely with the Financial Pricing Team, the Rates Team, legal practice coordinators, and billing specialists.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and maintenance of the Clients and Matters areas of the firm's financial system
• Support the implementation of special fee arrangements for clients and matters, including rate sets, individual rates, and various rate combinations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, plus approximately 1 year of professional experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Sharp attention to detail
• Polished, professional presence — comfortable representing the firm in a fast-paced, high-caliber environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Nice-to-haves

• Prior internship or professional experience in a law firm, financial services, or professional services environment
• Familiarity with financial or billing systems

Pay

$25 - $27/hr.
