Pricing Analyst

About the Role

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of generic pharmaceutical products, analyzing generic market trends, and providing insights to support Cencora’s formulary generics business strategy. This role involves conducting margin analysis, evaluating competitive data, and supporting assigned customer segments. The analyst will also generate reports, create presentations, and collaborate with Senior Leadership within Corporate Partnerships, Strategic Global Sourcing, and Cencora Finance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in-depth analysis on item-level pricing for formulary generics contracts.
• Analyzes monthly industry trends to recommend pricing actions at the customer and product levels.
• Reports on plan and finance goals related to Cencora formulary generics and assesses profitability impact.
• Conducts and analyzes price comparisons for current customers using standardized reporting tools, ensuring accuracy.
• Creates presentations utilizing multi-data sources.
• Generates reports such as month-end, ad hoc, rebate, and administration reports, consolidating data from various systems.
• Documents processes and procedures related to primary duties.
• Performs Leakage Analysis, interpretation, and reporting at the customer/chain/channel level.
• Supports Finance and Commercial teams through prospective customer evaluations and strategic pricing analyses.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, or a related field required.
• Preferred previous internship or co-op experience in Finance, Business, or Pricing.
