Rare Disease Business Manager - HAE - Las Vegas
About the role
The Rare Disease Business Manager will drive franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies. You will collaborate with the Regional Business Lead and various customer-facing team members to ensure patients are supported through their HAE journey. Responsibilities include demand generation efforts focused on healthcare professionals (HCPs), educating and informing them about Takeda brands within the HAE portfolio.
This position requires daytime, evening, and weekend activities, along with the ability to manage the complexity of the HAE marketplace (distribution, site of care). You will work closely with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patients receive access to therapy while compliantly adhering to all policies and guidelines. The role demands a high level of customer satisfaction and alignment with Takeda’s culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Drive franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Lead and customer-facing teams to support patients through their HAE journey.
- Focus on demand generation by educating HCPs about Takeda’s HAE portfolio.
- Manage the complexity of the HAE marketplace, including distribution and site of care.
- Work closely with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access to therapy.
- Compliantly adhere to all policies and guidelines while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree (minimum).
- 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience, managing and being accountable for your own business.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in a complex selling model is highly desirable.
- Biotech experience is desirable.
- Results-driven with a track record of compliance throughout your career.
- Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
- Strong organizational and territory planning skills.
- Effective at acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to create effective sales strategies.
- Demonstrated change agility skills and experiences.
- Proven ability to influence HCPs to prescribe; launch experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends.
- Must support conventions and meetings related to Immunology.
- Must have authorization and ability to drive a company-leased vehicle or rental.
Training Requirements
This position and continued employment are contingent upon successfully passing mandatory product training, including written and oral examinations. During the training period, the employee will be classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime (in accordance with applicable laws) but will not be eligible for Takeda-related sales incentive programs or production-based bonuses. Training includes live instruction, independent study, role play, and other activities, totaling up to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per workweek. Upon successful completion, the employee transitions to exempt status, becomes eligible for overtime, and can participate in Takeda’s sales incentive programs.

Pay
For this position in the USA - NV - Virtual location, the estimated hourly wage range is $66.11 - $90.91. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on factors such as qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and job location. The wage will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements.
