About the role

The Rare Disease Business Manager will be responsible for driving franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies. Collaborates with the Regional Business Lead and various customer facing team members to ensure patients are supported through their HAE journey. Drive demand generation efforts through a focus on healthcare professionals. The HCPs should be educated and informed on Takeda brands, for the HAE portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to drive franchise sales growth
  • Collaborate with the Regional Business Lead and various customer facing team members to support patients through their HAE journey
  • Drive demand generation efforts through a focus on healthcare professionals
  • Educate and inform healthcare professionals on Takeda brands for the HAE portfolio
  • Manage the complexity of the HAE marketplace (distribution, site of care)
  • Work closely with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patients receive access to therapy
  • Compliantly adhere to all policies and guidelines and ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Exude Takeda culture and values

Requirements

  • Clinical sales background with a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum) required
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience managing and being accountable for own business
  • Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of sales processes
  • Demonstrated organizational and territory planning skills
  • Effective at acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to create effective sales strategies
  • Demonstrated change agility skills and experiences required
  • Able to travel 50% of the time, including ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends
  • Must have authorization and ability to drive a company-leased vehicle or rental

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in complex selling model is highly desirable
  • Biotech experience desirable
  • Results driven- a track record of results and compliance throughout career
  • Demonstrated results in influencing HCPs to prescribe and launch

Pay

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $66.11 - $90.91
