Rapid Response Nurse (RN)

About the role

This position provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads other assigned team members
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide care
• Provides patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment
• Demonstrates professional behavior and participates in shared governance
• Coordinates patient care services and identifies clinical priorities
• Functions in a professional practice model through participation in peer review and professional development

Requirements

• Previous acute care clinical experience required
• Critical Care or ED experience preferred
• Must be able to work under stress

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Active South Carolina RN license
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
