Duties
Serves as the technical expert, exercising real-time command and control over the entire range and training area complex.
Conducts range walks and performs detailed inspections of training land and facilities to assist units in the preparation of live fire/non-firing training, as required.
Achieves mission accomplishment through working and coordination with military personnel and civilians.
Requirements
Conditions of employment:
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Drug Test is required.
- Pre-employment Physical is required.
- Able to obtain and maintain U.S. issued driver license.
- Military Spouses, under Executive Order (E.O.) 13473
- Position is subject to Lautenberg Amendment

- Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
