Range Contractor Coordinator
Description of Responsibilities
- Develop and execute contractor plans for scheduled range activities
- Act as a liaison between contractors, government personnel and program teams
- Keeps abreast of changes in PMRF Range Operations forecasts to identify future requirements and scheduling conflicts
- Attends and participates in briefings, planning conferences, and meetings to gather operational requirements for assigned programs
- Prepares and distributes required administrative documentation to identify operational set-up for instrumentation and support systems and all data requirements for the assigned operation
- Coordinates and documents real-time efforts of operational support personnel IAW the published documentation and technical direction from Government counterparts
- Prepares and submits Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for assigned operations
- Cross-trains into ICC (Scheduling)
- Coordinates the distribution of data products gathered during assigned operations
- Maintains working knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate detailed scheduling and support requirements
- Participates in post-operational critiques and reviews
- Performs other duties as assigned
DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT
A high school graduate or equivalent plus two (+2) years’ experience coordinating or participating in military exercises. Valid driver’s license required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to interact with all levels of military and Government leadership and civilian organizations
- Knowledge of operational support systems and facilities to coordinate range schedules desired
- Must possess the following PC skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows
ENVIRONMENT
Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment.
