Ramp Agt-Trunk(Non-DOT)/Night

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading and unloading activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing.
• Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Ability to operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Effectively communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.
• FAA-covered safety-sensitive position; subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing, including testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, and opioids.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
