About the role

Coordinates all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading/unloading activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates aircraft loading and unloading activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing.
• Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Ability to operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

• Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Effectively communicates verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment.
• FAA-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing, including testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, and opioids.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay

$22.30 – $33.84 per hour.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 17:30 – 23:00.
