About the role

The Wholesale Merchandising Assistant, Lauren Apparel & Dress will support the Lauren Wholesale Merchandise Planning team in driving seasonal assortment execution, account performance, and brand presentation across wholesale partners. This role is highly detail-oriented and analytical, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Global Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to ensure class strategy execution, elevated assortments, and brand-focused in-store merchandising.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and validate accuracy of weekly business reporting and style selling
  • Manage Anaplan Entry from Adoption to GTM
  • Prepare and maintain all tools relative to the assortment planning process:
    • Preseason Adoption Prep
    • Paginations
    • Ranking Files
    • Buy Tool / Tagging Files
  • Coordinate and drive Market showroom activities to optimize wholesale priorities
  • Serve as sample liaison between Sales and Merchandising
  • Participate in pre-season merchandising meetings to understand product and global assortment strategies in order to deliver balanced assortments for wholesale
  • Handle various ad-hoc projects requiring a full understanding of the product life cycle

Requirements

  • Strong retail analysis with well-developed retail math skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong client-service approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Passion for the Ralph Lauren brand, lifestyle positioning, and performance/luxury apparel
