Associate, Merchandising
About The Role
Total Wine and More is seeking an Associate, Merchandising who will be part of our Buying team in Bethesda, MD. This position is responsible for supporting the Wine and Spirits Buying teams to manage store facing issue resolution, setting up new products, entering data into ERP systems, and executing routine processes and reporting. You will report to the Director, Wine.
Responsibilities
Manage and resolve store-facing issues for the Wine and Spirits department, serving as the key point of contact to troubleshoot problems, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely solutions that support smooth retail operations.
Execute the new item setup process, capturing accurate product information in systems to launch items into the Wine and Spirits assortment and enable smooth progression through the item life cycle.
Manage vendor-facing in-store activation systems by troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth execution of promotional activities at the store level.
Update ERP systems with the latest publication reviews to ensure product accolades are accurately reflected online and in-store signage, supporting customer engagement and sales.
Prepare and coordinate monthly store facing processes for both Wine and Spirits team.
Requirements
Must be able to prioritize many assignments simultaneously, and work under tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Proven ability to execute processes from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely completion and follow up.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Attention to detail with strong follow-up and time management skills to support cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
Less than 1 year experience in administrative support or a related role preferred
