About the role

We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to develop, test, and launch scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android, including both native and hybrid solutions. This role involves consulting on technology stacks, development workflows, QA processes, and deployment strategies, as well as leveraging the SFCC SCAPI/API framework for custom app integrations. You will support microservices frameworks, suggest and implement new mobile products, and stay current with best practices in mobile app development. The position allows part-time telecommuting with in-office work 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and launch scalable mobile apps for iOS and Android (native and hybrid).
• Consult on projects to recommend technology stacks, development workflows, QA processes, and deployment strategies.
• Build custom endpoints using the SFCC SCAPI/API framework for app integrations.
• Support microservices frameworks and global expansion initiatives.
• Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
• Stay updated on mobile app coding terminology, concepts, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate app functionality and design.
• Adapt best practices for web applications supporting the commerce experience.
• Communicate with business users to understand needs and represent the consumer journey.
• Analyze UI and mobile app stack to recommend performance improvements.
• Maintain web accessibility standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 2 years of experience in software development, including:
  • JavaScript and OOP design principles.
  • Third-party libraries and APIs.
  • REST and SOAP-based web services.
  • JavaScript frameworks/APIs (e.g., Angular, jQuery, React).
  • Object-oriented programming and GraphQL.
  • Performance tuning and optimization.
  • Node.js.
• 1 year of experience in:
  • Native mobile development (Objective-C/Swift or Kotlin/Java).
  • Hybrid mobile technologies (e.g., Ionic or React Native).

Pay

$103,210 – $150,000 per year.

Schedule

Part-time telecommuting permitted; in-office work required 2–3 days per week.
