About the role

This position is part of the NAM Marketing Sports and Partnerships team. The role will support all aspects of key sports partnerships specifically on Olympics; Team USA/LA28 Partnership. As Ralph Lauren prepares for the LA28 Olympic Games, this role will be instrumental in driving innovative, culturally relevant activations and storytelling that elevate the brand on a global stage. The position will support end to end partnerships, as well as 360 executions aligned to the NAM marketing strategy and tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in ideations and development of fully integrated marketing campaigns that build brand desirability, drive elevation and support partnership business goals. Create plans that are grounded in deep consumer insight/understanding as it relates to the sport/partnership context.
  • Manage cross functionally with multiple departments to execute omni-channel activations as determined by need for each partnership across the following initiatives/channels:
    • Celebrity and Influencer
    • Traditional and Digital / Social Marketing
    • Mercandising
    • Campaign Content Creation
    • Events, Pop-up stores and In-store Activations
    • Operations
    • Media
    • Finance/PO/Invoicing
  • Serve as a support to Director with internal and external teams in the development, execution and communication of marketing materials to support all partnerships:
    • Write strategic and inspiring creative briefs
    • Develop holistic marketing strategies that connect to commercial outcomes
    • Create consumer-oriented connections strategy for media execution
    • Manage budget tracking and timelines
    • Manage input and report on KPIs
    • Collaborate with all marketing and sales channel partners (Wholesale, RLS, PRO, RLE)
    • The Agency, Global Brand Team, PR, Retail Development, Media & CIX to successfully execute initiatives and manage project timelines
    • Collaborate with all external partners (USOPP/LA28)
    • Manage with all partners to collect metrics/reports/recaps and understand trends/benchmarks; apply critical lens to metrics/reports and identify areas to optimize.
  • Bring a curious mindset to continue to understand the competitive landscape and relevant trends within sport/partner areas to inform team, growth strategies and fresh ideas.
  • Ensure all consumer facing touch points are highly elevated and represent the Ralph Lauren brand positioning, aesthetic, lifestyle and flawless execution.
  • Support in product initiatives and sample management for photoshoots, PR initiatives, events and dressing of talent.
  • Run day-day meetings for internal and external partners while providing clear next steps and output
  • Support and manage tracking on all applicable budgets, project timelines and programs

Requirements

  • Experience in a multi-channel organization
  • Partnership and sports partnership experience required
  • Experience of royalty and licensing deals required
  • Online marketing/e-commerce experience
  • Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally to support marketing campaigns end to end, from strategic and creative development to execution
  • Demonstrates creative spark and a strong attention to detail to ensure elevation.
  • Strong ability to think through consumer lens
  • Naturally curious with a desire to stay in touch with culture, competition and trends related to the sport/partnership / LA28 area.
  • Ability to identify and develop relationships with key internal and external partners that fosters collaboration and trust
  • Capable of providing vision, clarity and simplification within a highly matrixed and complex situations
  • Resourceful and capable of solving problems utilizing creative thinking
  • Team player and ability to work well in a group and dynamic personalities
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Must be open to travel
  • Must be a sports/fashion enthusiast/sports background
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a multi-channel environment
  • Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce platforms

Pay

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year
