Rail Yard Technician
Clean Harbors in Sterling, CO is searching for a safety-oriented and reliable individual to join our team. This is an entry-level, full-time position offering career growth and advancement opportunities.
Pay
$23.50 hourly, paid weekly with overtime.
Schedule
Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Responsibilities
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklift
- Performs general labor throughout the facility to prepare materials for the incineration process
- Ensures the safety of self and others
- Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills while taking all safety precautions to prevent injury
- Follows all standard operating procedures
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with industrial or manual labor
- Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat)
- Excellent commitment to health and safety
- Accountability and punctuality
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to waist
- Climb up and down vertical ladders
- Capable of reaching out, over, and down while exerting force
- 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected) with critical depth perception
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to operate a forklift (required)
- Valid US driver’s license
- Updated resume, including most recent employer, is required for consideration
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
