Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of our WORLD CLASS RAIL DESIGN group
- Develop overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams and technical specifications
- Perform quality control reviews and design checks of railroad projects
- Lead major tasks
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state & local regulations
- Overhead Catenary System (OCS)
- Serves as a project manager on mid-large size projects
- Coordinates team and provides technical expertise for mid-large size projects
- Develops overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams and technical specifications
- Leads technical client relationships related to design, construction and phasing of the work
- Captures and coordinates with multiple departments related to a projects scope of work
- Mentors staff to develop a team to support work throughout New England and beyond
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with clients
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices
