Radius Research Image Analyst - Clinical Division

About the role

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. May require some work during evening hours and weekends, as needed per department and supervisor. Applicants for this position will be considered for the titles of Research Analyst I or Research Analyst II, determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.

The University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology, in partnership with UW Health, has been at the forefront of clinical care, imaging research, and education for nearly a century. Since its inception in 1927, the department has grown to more than 160 faculty members across 14 specialized sections, serving as a key pillar of UW Health’s world-class medical enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Prepares reports and manuscripts and assists with the development and presentation of materials through various communication platforms.
• Analyzes data and summarizes research results for a defined research area or study by utilizing established processes.
• Maintains organization of research records and responds to data requests and inquiries.
• Serves as an initial point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic information about result analysis and methodologies, answers questions as needed.

Requirements

• Familiarity in advanced image analysis techniques and/or medical software.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency using Vitrea, AW, Horos, cvi42, Mint Lesion, and/or TerraRecon.
• Experience in a 3D lab or similar environment.
• Experience working within a healthcare and/or academic environment.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred minimum for Research Analyst I title).

Pay

The starting salary for hire into the Research Analyst I title is $63,000 and the starting salary for hire into the Research Analyst II title is $68,000. Actual pay is determined at hire and is based on experience and qualifications.
