Description

Patient Care: Perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-ray examinations. Position patients accurately for radiographic procedures. Operate digital radiographic equipment. Follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards.

  • Review patient histories and prior imaging studies.
  • Utilize PACS and RIS systems for imaging workflow and documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and care teams.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-ray examinations.
  • Position patients accurately for radiographic procedures.
  • Operate digital radiographic equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
  • Review patient histories and prior imaging studies.
  • Utilize PACS and RIS systems for imaging workflow and documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and care teams.
Additional Imaging Responsibilities May Include:
  • Portable radiography.
  • Fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Surgical imaging support.

Work Environment

  • Full-time Night Shift (1.0 FTE).
  • Hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Level II Trauma Center.
  • Smaller overnight team environment.
  • Consistent patient volume and focused workflow.

Qualifications

  • Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT (Radiography) certification.
  • Oregon Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Experience using PACS and RIS systems.
  • Strong communication, time management, and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of Radiologic Technologist experience in a hospital, emergency department, or trauma setting.

Pay

Pay Range: $41.67–$58.31/hr base pay. Shift differentials: Additional evening and night differentials apply based on hours worked. Compensation determined by education, experience, certifications, and collective bargaining agreement provisions.

Schedule & Shift Details

  • 4x10’s.
  • Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM-7:00 AM.
