About the role

As a Radiology Technologist - Weekends Only with HCA Florida Northside Hospital, you will join a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing high-quality patient care. This is a part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographs (x-rays) of patients to assist physicians in diagnoses and treatment
• Perform procedures accurately and respectfully
• Ensure high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images are submitted for interpretation
• Select appropriate technical factors and techniques for contrast media administration when necessary
• Document all pertinent clinical information before exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields in MEDITECH accurately and promptly
• Maintain effective communication with patients and other caregivers, including radiologists
• Check equipment operation, ensure cleanliness, and stock room with necessary supplies to prevent cross-contamination

Qualifications

• 2-year/Associate degree in Hospital-based Radiologic Technology program
• Valid ARRT certification
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, move, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently
