Shift Details
SHIFT: Thursday and Friday 8AM- 8PM
Practices Infection Control
Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents.
Room Maintenance
Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room.
Clerical Duties
- Completes required documentation for Radiologist support
- Performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
Patient Care
- Completes direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Obtains and documents patient history and explains procedures.
- Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy.
- Performs all imaging exams using established protocols and operates all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
- Uses facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams and educates patients concerning the exam.
- Screens patients properly for any contrast allergies and for childbearing age, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Technical Duties
- Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards in a safe, timely manner.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
Equipment Operation
- Uses facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams and educates patients concerning the exam.

Education and Training
- Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Requires Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- Requires Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT))

- 2+ years experience Required

Pay Information
This position is paid between $20.60 and $38.31 per hour.
