Job Description
The Technologist I-Radiology Main at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for performing routine, emergency radiographic, surgical cases, and fluoroscopic procedures. Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality diagnostic procedures, and assisting physicians and medical staff during exams. Technologists are responsible for reviewing patient information, charts, physicians orders, and previous images to plan and perform high quality exams, This role oversees safety compliance for patients, staff, and equipment.
Qualifications
Education: Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Licenses and Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Licensed Radiologic Technologist, ARRT - Registered or registry eligible.
Work Experience: 1-3 years Experience working with trauma patients and surgery C-arm cases.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to comply with budgetary guidelines, stay current with evolving radiological technology through continuing education and training, strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within the Radiology team, commitment to supporting team members and preventing workflow delays, ability to work accurately under stress and maintain attention to detail, flexibility to adapt to frequent workload changes, strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy, commitment to professional development through classes and continuing education, effective written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as a strong team member.
