Radiology Technologist - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) at Northwell Health + GoHealth Urgent Care is responsible for performing x-ray services under the clinical direction of Medical Providers. This role also includes ensuring patients are positioned correctly, protecting them during procedures, and maintaining equipment quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients, applying x-ray energy for diagnosis or treatment.
• Position patients correctly on or in front of equipment and protect them during use.
• Push patients in wheelchairs as needed.
• Follow operating instructions for daily controls and calibration of equipment.
• Maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of urgent care centers.
• Support Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (required)
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
• Valid State Driver’s License (required)

Education

• Qualifications: High School Diploma (required), Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required, Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred
